With the Vento Series nothing is left to chance. The massive cabinet, with its unusual curved design, is as much an essential element of the sound concept as the floorstander’s down-firing bass reflex vent. Even the smallest Vento loudspeakers offer maximum sound. The sizable front-firing active subwoofer with ICEpowerTM amplifier has its own wireless remote control. The well-balanced center channel speaker provides a complementary finishing touch to the complete range of sound.

Vento 890 DC from $5,999

The Canton Vento 890 DC is perfect in sound and shape. The nature inspired design of the cabinet of the Canton Vento 890 DC is similar to the acoustically beneficial round shapes of sound boxes of classic musical instruments. Its excellent reproduction quality opens new sound dimensions for absolute listening pleasure. In the Vento, the combined action of skilfully and perfectly processed excellent materials and state of the art loudspeaker technology reaches its absolute climax. Characteristic of the Canton Vento 890 DC are the acoustically beneficial round shapes that are realized through a solid layered construction of the sides. The high tone systems work up to 40.000 Hz and, due to their computer optimized front plates, have a very beneficial radiation and a high effectiveness. The aluminium membranes of the low tone loudspeakers have multi domed ribs (wave geometry). They reduce distortion, allow larger deflections and reduce unwanted swing movements of the membrane.

Vento 880 DC from $4,799

The Canton Vento 880 DC is a three-way bass reflex floorstanding model, featuring a pair of aluminum cone woofers, and a matched 6-inch aluminum midrange driver. At 39-inches tall, and just under 8″ wide, the speaker’s slim line cabinet is further accentuated by the Vento series’ hallmark curved side panels. It also features Canton’s exclusive DC technology, which uses a proprietary high-pass filter to eliminate signals below the audible frequency range, which can otherwise generate high levels of unwanted harmonic distortion in the audible lower bass range. DC technology allows the speaker to provide clear, linear bass reproduction at frequencies lower than comparably-sized conventional speakers.

Vento 810 DC from $1,999

The Canton Vento 810 is the smallest model in the Vento line, and can be used as a small monitor for audiophile grade music reproduction, or surround sound speaker in a home theater. The two-way speaker has a single 6-inch aluminum woofer, and is shown below with an optional LS85 stand. Frequency response is a claimed 33 Hz to 40,000 Hz. this model feature Canton’s own ADT-25 aluminum-manganese dome tweeter, include biwire/biamp capability, and come in a variety of finishes.

Vento SUB 850 R from $4,699

Karat Series

The idea behind the Karat Series was to develop an elegant loudspeaker that would offer outstanding sound properties and a stylish slim appearance. The solution to this challenge lay in positioning the woofer on one side and allowing the bass reflex port to radiate the rearwards. The baffle could therefore be smaller, reducing the secondary radiation and contributing to the optimal omnidirectional characteristics of the midrange and tweeter unit. In this way the Karat Series was able to answerthe question of style or function with a resounding “both”.

Canton Karat 790 DC Floorstanding Speaker, The Karat 790 DC is the heavy weight in this range in more ways than weight alone. With its 3 way plus tweeter speaker configuration the Karat 790DC handles power outputs of 180 Watts per channel nominal with a maximum of 300 Watts. The frequency range range stretches from a superb 22Hz at the bass end up to 40,000 Hz at the top.

Karat 770.2 DC $3,999

Canton Karat 770 DC is the development of the Canton Karat 707 the number of Test victories shone through. Canton changed the beads suspension of funding and woofer, and modified the crossover leading to an even more linear frequency response. Pure sound and clean lines – the loudspeakers of the Karat series stand for transparent, honest music with great sound volume. The purist design in the Bauhaus style and the housing surfaces in paint and “high gloss round” the overall impression from beneath.

Karat 755.2 CM $1,319

Ergo Series

The construction of the Ergo Series is classic and timeless; the driver material is unlikely to be replaced in the foreseeable future. The large woofer chassis and the broad baffle with its bass reflex port speak for themselves. Yet the loudspeakers of the Ergo Series do not follow any trends. They set the trends – and have for generations. The distinctive and unique wooden surfaces and lovingly rounded edges almost make you forget that the cabinet houses the latest in loudspeaker technology, producing genuine, sophisticated sounds. What’s more, the Ergo loudspeakers are also ideal for use in a surround system.

Ergo 655 CM $1,299

Canton’s Ergo 655 is a compact 2-1/2-way center-channel speaker. Able to handle up to 160 watts, each wenge-veneered enclosure houses a 7-inch aluminum wave surround woofer, a 7-inch aluminum wave surround midrange driver, and a 1-inch aluminum-manganese tweeter. The Ergo 655 is compatible with Canton’s LS 600 and 650 loudspeaker stands, and is magnetically shielded against interference from nearby audio/visual equipment.

Ergo 650.2 SC $2,799

Canton’s Ergo AS650.2 is an active front-firing subwoofer. Able to handle up to 350 watts, each cherry-veneered enclosure houses a 12-inch aluminum wave surround woofer. CD Series

The secret of the CD Series is the highly stable aluminium cabinet that allows it to have a rigid, rounded design while keeping the walls relatively thin. This makes it possible to combine extremely compact construction methods with a large cabinet capacity. This cabinet design houses the four vertical woofers and midrange speakers that create the bass sound. Its variety of designs and colors means that it is perfectly suited to a young, modern and elegant lifestyle.
