The Sound and Vision of Scandinavia
Nature favours better design. Wherever you look, the most successful designs are always the most efficient. By rejecting unnecessary features, they have evolved to become simpler but also more sophisticated.
Scandinavian design is like this: practical, unpretentious, beautifully efficient and powerfully satisfying in its simplicity. And when you own a home entertainment system from Primare, you’ll sense that we celebrate these values as well. Through Primare audio/video systems you’ll enjoy the benefits of cutting-edge technology and high performance without complexity, in a form that is easy to use and appreciate over many years.
All prices are RRP and include GST. We will try to match or beat any genuine Australian Primare dealers’ price. Please contact us for more information.

Primare PRE30 $3,499
The PRE30 is a fully balanced preamplifier designed with operational simplicity in mind. When used in conjunction with a balanced power amplifier, such as the A33.2 or the A32 and a source that provides balanced outputs, like the CD32, it becomes a significant link in an ultra-low noise signal chain that connects the source with the speaker. Each of the seven inputs may be adjusted for the differences in output level produced by each source. It also provides such useful features as a surround bypass switch, allowing you seamlessly to integrate the PRE30 with a home theatre system.

Primare I22 Coming Soon
The I22 is a two x 80 watt integrated amplifier utilising our acclaimed proprietary UFPD power technology. It is designed to provide high power output with very low distortion and system control.
An optional DAC board is available for the I22, comprising three digital inputs for the upgrading of existing CD players via their digital outputs, and the streaming of music files from PCs and Macs. There is an isochronous USB-B input (16-24bit data at 44.1 to 96kHz), a TOSLINK connector (16-24 bit data at 44.1-192kHz) and SPDIF (16-24bit/44.1-192kHz). Specialised processing at the Isochronous USB-B input re-clocks the incoming data for reduced jitter and greater bit resolution through the DAC, optimising sound quality from music files.
Primare I32 $3,999
The I32 is an upgradable two x 120 watt integrated amplifier utilising proprietary UFPD power technology. It is designed to provide high power output with very low distortion and system control for Primare’s new 30 series range of hi-fi separates. UFPD’s instantaneous rise time results in a naturally fast, clean and agile sound over a much wider frequency range and with exceptional headroom. Ecologically the I32 is far superior to conventional Class A/B designs being extremely efficient without generating excessive heat. In addition it provides a special eco-friendly standby mode of just 0.2 W.
Primare A33.2 $4,499
The A33.2 power amplifier is a dual mono design featuring two identical compact ultra-low noise mono channels with individual power supplies and protection circuits. Each channel has its own toroidal transformer, which allows the amplifier to deliver 120 watts into an 8 ohms load. A further simplification of the signal path and the addition of even more power have created a worthy successor to the A30.2.
Primare A32 $7,499
With the mighty A32, Primare has set foot on truly esoteric ground. This is a massive fully balanced design capable of controlling the most demanding low-sensitivity speakers – even at the very highest volume levels. The specification is impressive. Equipped with a 2kVa toroidal transformer featuring four separate windings, two for each (L/R) channel; a reservoir of 90.000 uF and sixteen bipolar output devices per channel, the A32 is undeniably an elite amplifier in the classic Primare dual/mono mould. Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are provided, as well as twin speaker terminals for bi-wiring, a trigger input and RS232C inputs. If the unbalanced inputs are used the A32 converts the signal to balanced, to take full advantage of its balanced design.

Primare CD22 Coming Soon
The CD22 is the successor to and upgrade for the successful and acclaimed CD21 CD player. Every component, from the CD transport to the audio output stage, has been designed to achieve the highest possible audio performance.
It incorporates a dedicated CD-transport with a considerable five second buffer memory in order to provide the best jitter suppression and protection from mechanical shock. Operation can be customised by choosing the preferred sample frequency: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz or 192kHz. Comprehensive outputs include unbalanced RCA analogue, together with SPDIF and TOSLINK digital outputs. The CD22 will also play and control MP3 or WMA files via USB or disc.
Primare CD32 $3,999
The CD32 is the successor to and upgrade for the successful and acclaimed balanced CD31 CD player. Every component, from the CD transport to the audio output stage, has been designed to achieve the highest possible audio performance. For the many music lovers with large and growing CD collections, the CD32 will ensure that the silver disc continues to provide easy access to ever greater fidelity. Even so, the CD32 will also unlock the vast store of music available from the Internet, playing and controlling MP3 or WMA files via USB or disc. Whichever source you choose the CD32 will respond with exceptional sound according to the data available.

Primare SPA22 $5,999
Is this the world’s greatest and greenest A/V integrated amplifier? The new SPA22 combines the advanced control flexibility and upgradable topology of the SP32 with five discrete channels of super-efficient UFPD amplification rated at 120W each. Ultra Fast Power Device technology uses a purified Class D/switch-mode design exclusive to Primare and delivers a natural dynamic quality of sound across the entire audible spectrum while saving around 70% of the energy used to power a conventional amp of similar specification.
What’s more, the beauty of SPA22’s new modular design means that new Primare-developed audio/video/control boards can replace the old, so you won’t have to discard the amp simply because it isn’t compatible with new technologies. Primare’s modular design means that our superb analogue stages can be saved for the world as well as your pocket.
The SPA22 currently offers the custom configuration of fifteen audio sources and thirteen video sources as well as providing dedicated 7.1 channel inputs and outputs, three 12V DC triggers and IR and RS232 control.
