Rega P3-24 $1,199

The inspiration for the design of the P3 – 24 did not come from an evolution of the last P3 2000 model. Rather it came from re visiting the virtues of the original planar 3 turntable. These virtues gave us our design brief:
· No unnecessary frills.
· High performance.
· Outstanding musical sound performance for cost price.
· Rugged reliability
· High quality components
· A long life time
Most areas of the turntable have changed, let’s start with the plinth.
The Plinth
The new plinth whilst being slim and attractive, offers high levels of rigidity by using phenolic resin laminates, with a high quality edging. It is a considerable improvement over the current P2.
High performance motor
The P3 – 24 uses the same very high quality low vibration motor, which is used in the P5 & 9 turntables. The clever controlling circuitry can be adjusted for phase angle of the motor coils resulting in very low vibration levels from the complete motor assembly.
This design change gives a considerable performance increase over the P3 2000.
The TT PSU first developed for the P7 turntable is a high quality outboard power supply; the TTPSU can be used as an affordable upgrade with the P3 – 24 turntable. Offering increased musical performance, by conditioning the electrical supply with a synthesised low distortion crystal controlled ac input. This also gives the added convenience of electronic speed change control.
Main bearing platter
The same high quality drive belt/main bearing and glass platter are carried over from the cast P3 2000.
RB301
The famous RB300 has been modified to improve production and give a higher musical sound performance. An improved vertical bearing housing has been used, which gives improved rigidity in the tonearms mounting, reducing the stresses in the main 13mm bearings. This assembly is topped off with the improved RB700 bias housing phono cable.

Optional PSU for 33/45 speed change and improved power regulation $350
Also available in Colour options, including PSU with 33/45 speed change.
Gloss Black or Gloss Red $1,599
Special order for Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Orange or Pink $1,599
Rega P5 $1,699

The P5 is a turntable born from the legacy of the P25.
The P5 celebrates over 30 years of Rega precision crafting specialist hi-fi in Britain. And subsequently combines everything that Rega stands for, which is simply, giving you the best product in terms of quality and style at the best possible price!
The P5 utilises idea’s and engineering techniques used on our more expensive turntables; the aluminium surround, its complex CNC machined skeletal low mass micro-fibre plinth. Not to mention the new RB700 tonearm found on the P7.
The Glass platter of the P5 is hand crafted from floated plate glass 12mm in thickness. This makes for a superb platter material which provides stability and assists in the isolation of record information against other sounds (i.e. /knocking or vibrations) and also provides excellent speed stability; thus providing increased sonic enjoyment.
Upgrade power supply: The TT PSU.
The TT PSU is an optional upgrade power supply for the P5 turntable. It was constructed to help reproduce your music with greater efficacy, utilising technologies adapted from our flagship turntable the P9 and the P5′s predecessor the P25.
Available in Cherry, Black or Silver
No cartridge included
Optional PSU for 33/45 speed change and improved power regulation $350
Rega P7 $2,999

The new P7 is, in our opinion, the ultimate performance turntable at it’s price available to the music-loving public. We designed the P7 with knowledge and expertise gained from our legendary flagship turntable the P9.
The plinth is a complex CNC machined skeletal structure of medium lightweight fibre composite encased in highly ridged phenolic resin laminates – ultra lightweight, ultra rigid foundation for this high performance turntable. This results in the plinth being very strong and very light, which inturn improves the performance.
The main bearing assembly is engineered to extremely tight tolerances. This results in virtually friction free rumble-less performance which, if lubricated correctly, will last your lifetime!
The ceramic platter is something which we have desperately wanted to evolve from the P9 and use for other turntables, yet for a long time we have had difficulty in being able to produce such an expensive material for lower cost turntables. However, we believe this new incarnation of the ceramic platter bridges that gap!
The P7 is finished in a highly attractive Aluminium metal extrusion surround, which offers great rigidity and through clever machining produces an extremely low mass which gives a performance improvement.
Power Supply
The all new TT PSU and motor anti-vibration circuit is a combination of the innovative P9 power supply along with an improved P25 anti-vibration motor drive feeding the P9 24V AC synchronous motor. The TT PSU uses a remote “wall wart” transformer therefore keeping the sources of hum & noise well away from sensitive parts such as the cartridge and phono leads. These attributes will enhance and control the turntables effectiveness to reproduce music. Click here for more info…
The new RB700
The RB700 carries forward the superior RB name with huge efficiency, and lives upto the RB tonearms much awarded history. The RB700 is clearly different in many ways to the previous 600 model, some of the key areas of improvement are the bias housing, bearing assemblies and the materials used on it.
The RB700 tonearm is designed to make cartridges work harder, maximising the cantilever acceleration and travel as much as possible with the utmost accuracy within the cartridge body thus providing new levels of information
Available in Cherry, Black (Silver is special order only)
Rega P9 $5,999 Special order only

The P9 is, in our opinion, the ultimate performance turntable available to the music-loving public. We designed the P9 with no financial restrictions whatsoever. The ceramic platter alone costs more to produce than our P5 turntable! With the right cartridge, you will be astonished at just how much information this turntable retrieves from your vinyl LP collection.
The plinth is a complex CNC machined skeletal structure encased in highly ridged phenolic resin laminates. The equivalent to the carbon fibre ‘monocoque’ chassis of the formula one car – an ultra lightweight, ultra rigid foundation for this high performance turntable. The plinth of the new P9 uses a brand new material to hi-fi for the inner skeletal structure. It is an ultra lightweight fibre composite. This results in the plinth being even lighter than the previous Planar 9 and improves the performance.
The main bearing assembly is engineered to extremely tight tolerances. This results in virtually friction free rumble-less performance which, if lubricated correctly, will last your lifetime!
The platter is quite simply the most exotic material we have used to date in our turntable designs. It is made from pure ceramic; a material that you would otherwise find on missile nose cones or maybe insulation tiles found on Nasa’s space shuttle. The reason for using such an exotic and difficult to produce material? It is the hardest material known to man apart from diamond!
The P9 carries a decorative surround of exotic solid woods, which you can cleverly interchange if you so wish to give a different appearance.
New technologies in CNC woodworking machinery have allowed Rega to produce its first technologically complex surround. The new P9 surround is considerably more attractive than its predecessor and externally much larger although through clever machining the new surround is lower in mass than the old which gives a performance improvement.
The external power supply unit is a quart crystal locked system. To ensure accurate speed stability of the platter motor, two quartz crystal control reference oscillators have been utilised. This system produces a high frequency (3 MHz for 33 and 4 MHz for 45) signal, which is then divided down to feed generously rated, high current power fet amps.
The output from these is very pure (<0.03 THD, this is a lower value than many power amplifiers output). The beauty of this power supply is that a dual phase is supplied to the motor, the phases of which may be varied in relation to each other. This means that the power supply phases are trimmed to eliminate all vibration from the motor. In turn, this means that there is no need for plinth suspension, which would ordinarily be required to eliminate motor resonance.
The RB1000
We have replaced the RB900 with the all new RB1000. This tonearm takes thirty times longer to produce than an RB300. At present there are only two of our most highly trained and experienced technicians that can build this exotic tonearm.
The RB1000 carries more technological changes over previous Rega tonearms than any produced during the last twenty years! Key areas of improvement can be found in the bearing assemblies, wiring and materials used. We have worked to redistribute and reduce mass in areas of the tonearm where mass is critical to performance. The easiest place to see these changes in evidence would be the new polished aluminium arm tube. It has no coatings of any type. The changes we have made over the RB900 have resulted in a tonearm with extremely high structural rigidity, combining ultra low friction movement together with massive stability. These attributes will make any cartridge mounted on this tonearm work harder than they have ever worked before. Do not be surprised if the first time you listen to familiar music, you hear detail that you have never heard before!
